10:30 Local Time, 09:30 GMT, 15:00 IST: Day 3 and we return to a game that's in a riveting position. Going by recent history and the 61-run lead, England are clear favourites. But the West Indies have shown that they've got the game to step up and fight. That's exactly what they'll need to do. A middle-order that's been prone to collapse is in focus and their immediate task will be to see off the first hour or so without allowing England to make further inroads.
18:52 Local Time, 17:52 GMT, 23:22 IST: That's Stumps on Day 2. This game has moved quickly indeed! 9 wickets today to the 13 that fell yesterday. It started with England getting themselves into a hole at 54/5 and the West Indies were on top. They'll be terribly disappointed though with the fact that they then allowed England not only to clamber back but also gain the ascendancy by taking a first-innings lead. England's efforts were led by a century stand between Root and Stokes first and then by another between Jamie Smith and Woakes. There was a little spell of rain before the start of this session and England were bundled out leaving the West Indies to negotiate a tricky 1 hour phase. It didn't go to plan for the visitors. Brathwaite was castled by an unplayable delivery from Woakes and McKenzie's returns remained bleak. It could've been worse had Stokes held on to a chance offered by Louis (who was batting on 9) but as it stands, England are on top once again with the West Indies 2 down and trailing by 61. We'll be back tomorrow and pick the action back up.
