18:08 Local Time, 10:08 GMT, 15:38 IST: This is some recovery from the Strikers and they'll be happy with the final total. The Scorchers will reckon they let the match slip away slightly after having reduced the visitors to 95 for 6. The in-form openers were dismissed cheaply, but Jake Weatherald held the innings together with a 32-ball half-century, but rush of blood consumed him and he left his team in tatters. ben Manenti and Thornton though had other ideas, they were not always pretty, but they did keep the scoreboard ticking with a 34-run partnership, it was followed by another unbroken 26-run stand for the 8th wicket as the Strikers finished strongly. The Scorchers were up to the task with the ball, but Morris and Agar did prove expensive. But this is a good batting wicket and they'll fancy chasing down 156. Back for the chase shortly..
