Bumrah to Root, 1 run, full and shaping into off-stump, big appeal for leg before from Bumrah but the umpire walks away, Root pressed forward to defend and it looked like he got a fairly big inside edge on to the pad as it went towards square leg, pad first and then bat but impact well outside off, good call not to review

Bumrah to Root, no run, full on off-stump, Root prods forward and blocks

An important update, Ravichandran Ashwin is here and he's walking out with the team after tea. England's task just got that much more difficult as India will now come at them with a full-strength attack. Final session of the day, how many can India get in the remaining 32.4 overs?

14:15 Local Time, 08:45 GMT, 14:15 IST: What a catastrophic session for England. Especially the last 45 minutes. First Duckett ran himself out and then the ump's call went India's way in the last over before tea. Crawley was not too pleased with umpire Kumar Dharmasena's call but the relentlessness of the appeal forced the Sri Lankan to raise his finger. Such fine margins. The target of 557 was already a mountain to climb for England who now face a real battle not to go 1-2 down in the series. Huge test of character coming up and interesting to see how they will deal with that. India are bossing this game after Jaiswal's successive double-ton and contributions from Gill and Sarfaraz. Still Ashwin is not to be seen and the challenge will only get tougher once he comes. Back for the final session in 15 minutes...
