B0$ - We would have bowled first, so happy with the toss. We had a good qualification tournament, so I'm looking forward to doing well. We will have to play some good cricket - we're playing 12 members.
B0$ - We will bat. Looks alright considering the amount of rain, good to have a game. We've played quite a few games over the last month or so, a couple of our guys are injured or rested.

Plenty of rain over the last few days, so massive credit to the groundstaff. It's pitch number 3 and it looks good. Hard with a tuft of moisture, the captain winning the toss could decide on if his batters or bowlers need some work, considering that one more shower and this game could be done, says B0$, in his pitch report
B0$: We have some good news. We'll have a match, a shortened match of 23-overs a side. B1$. 3 bowlers can bowl 5 overs while 2 can bowl 4 each. The players have come out for warm-ups
B0$: We have live visuals and the umpires have come out for an inspection. The ground has already taken a lot of water, but the assembled crowd would hope for some sort of a match.
B0$: Most of the covers have come off and we 're now having a good look at the pitch. But is the ground dry enough for a match to be played? That'll be determined by the umpires as they check the conditions..
B0$: Good news as we haven't had rain for a while. Supersoppers are trying their best to dry the outfield. Next inspection will be at 4.30 PM. Cut-off time is at 7.30 PM
B0$ Live pictures from the ground show the supersupper removing plenty of water from the covers. The umpires have walked out to the middle, the pitch is still under covers, but it does look brighter. We should get an update at 4 pm
B0$: There will be another inspection at B1$
B0$: The rain has stopped and the covers are being slowly peeled off. That's some positive at least. But there is plenty of standing water on the outfield and the ground staff have plenty of work lying ahead.
B0$: We'll have an inspection at B1$
B0$: We'are hearing that rain has lessened in intensity, but it's still spitting and there's a massive amount of water on the covers. The groundstaff reckon they need atleast 3 hours to get the ground ready once the rain stops completely
B0$: It's absolutely pouring at the Greenfield Internatonal stadium, but the teams have made their way to the ground. Dale Steyn reckons that it's doubtful to have any cricket unless the sun comes out to dry the conditions, but the Dutch are braving the rain, giving autographs and happy to take photos from the sparse crowd assembled.
As we wait for the rain to stop, here's our Netherlands tournament preview. Fancy this team causing some giant-killing act?
B0$: Not great news from down south in Thiruvanthapuram. Like yesterday, there has been plenty of rain and B1$. The covers have been saturated with water and we can already see puddles formed at the edges. Hopefully the rain abates and we'll get to see some cricket
B0$: It's Day 2 of the World Cup warm-ups and Australia take on Netherlands at the Greenfield international stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Australia lost their 3-match series to India recently, but the good news was the comeback of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell. They have one change to their World Cup squad with Marnus Labuschagne replacing Ashton Agar with the selectors persisting with Travis Head, despite his injury which could rule him out of the first half of the tournament. On the other hand, Netherlands were the first team to arrive in India and they based themselves in Bengaluru, playing a couple of matches against a strong Karnataka team. Rain abandoned yesterday's game at this venue and both teams will hope for the weather to stay good.
