Wanindu Hasaranga - We didn't see any changes last game (on the pitch), we'll have to bat well in the first 6 overs and then target 180-190. We haven't made any changes
Ibrahim Zadran - We'll bowl first. Different wicket, we want to chase and we want to bowl first. We made some mistakes in the last game, but we've spoken about it. We'll play with a positive mindset.I am enjoying captaincy - one change with Zazai coming in for Qais Ahmed
We're playing on a different pitch. Lots of grass, but they're patchy and uneven. It'll be a two-paced wicket, win the toss and bat first, says Russel Arnold, in his pitch report
Sri Lanka are unchanged and Afghanistan have made just onechange as they bowl first in Dambulla. Have a look at our expert XI before locking in your teams for fantasy
Afghanistan (Playing XI): Ibrahim Zadran(c), Rahmanullah Gurbaz(w), Gulbadin Naib, Azmatullah Omarzai, Hazratullah Zazai, Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran, Karim Janat, Noor Ahmad, Naveen-ul-Haq, Fazalhaq Farooqi
Afghanistan have won the toss and have opted to field
SL had issues at the top of the order but given Nissanka's form it can be ignored as an aberration. The class of Mendis should also sign though and Samarawickrama is too good a talent to keep quiet. Given they all failed and Afghanistan couldn't drive home the advantage, it would be tough for the visitors to bounce back. The potency of the Lankan bowling line up increases when Pathirana is on song. And that's exactly what happened. The Afghan pacers on the other hand did well and would want to carry on the good work.
Sri Lanka batted first and were in early trouble but captain Hasaranga promoted himself and arrested the slide in a counter-attacking fashion. Despite his heroics SL couldn't bat the entire lot of overs and were bowled out for 160. But as mentioned earlier, Afghanistan batters just kept playing passing the baton game and none took responsibility barring their skipper who was left stranded at the other end.
18:00 Local Time, 12:30 GMT, 18:00 IST: Hello and welcome to game 2 of the T20I series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. It is true that time and tide waits for none. Afghanistan though did have all the time in the world in the first T20I to chase the total down but a tide called 'Pathirana' swept them away and they lost by a heart breaking margin of 4 runs. Sri Lanka with that took a 1-0 lead!
