Delhi Capitals Women (Playing XI): Meg Lanning(c), Shafali Verma, Alice Capsey, Jemimah Rodrigues, Annabel Sutherland, Jess Jonassen, Arundhati Reddy, Taniya Bhatia(w), Titas Sadhu, Radha Yadav, Shikha Pandey
Meg Lanning - We'll have to set-up a good platform, anything more than 150+ should be a good score. It's been physically and mentally exhausting, we've had a good rest and some optional practice. The senior players have been around for a while, but everyone does learn. Two changes for us as well.
Beth Mooney - We will bowl first. Looks good, not too much grass. We've tried to get different perspectives on the way we're playing. Harleen Deol and Sneh Rana have been ruled out.
Gujarat Giants have won the toss and have opted to field
Pitch Report - We're playing on pitch number 5 for the 4th time. 50m and 61m side boundaries, the straight boundary is at 65m. It looks like a pretty good surface. It's fresh, rock hard, hardly any grass covering and the cracks are well covered. The highest first-0innings score on this pitch is 163. The team batting first will have to post a good score, especially on this pitch.
6:30 pm IST: We have reached the halfway stage of the tournament and tonight has Delhi Capitals taking on the winless Gujarat Giants. After a slow start, the Capitals have found their groove with two back-to-back wins and look like a well settled outfit. On the other hand, Giants have had nothing going their way - poor batting cost them the first two matches and then their bowlers failed to defend a modest score of 142. They're fast running out of time and will have to start winning if they're to keep their playoff chances alive. Toss and teams new coming up shortly..
