Our Fatansy Handbook experts have made three changes to the Expert XI. Have a look at our new and improved team.
Najmul Hossain Shanto: Happy to chase, looks good wicket, sometimes dew comes in the night so ghappy to chase. We played well against New Zealand recently and we have good memories.
Kusal Mendis: Bat first. Looks like a good wicket, so there would be pressure on the team which bats second. Hopefully, openers and middle-order bat well in the 20 overs, I think then we will be able to score 300. We are playing with genuine five bowlers.
Pitch Report | Russel Arnold: It looks green, greener than Sylhet but it’s (grass) not as thick but it’s hard. I feel there will be bounce here. There’s a strong breeze blowing across so the groundsman feels there won’t be much dew. I think 275-280 would be a good score. There would be some turn and grip for the spinners. For me, it’s a a bat first pitch.
Theekshana: It has been really good, the wickets I personally I thought little bit turning wickets but there was the dew factor too. I like the red ball, I have been playing a lot of leagues, I’m focusing on the white ball, I still have things to learn. We have to bowl with lots of discipline, the wickets are flat, I think the best thing we should do is attacking all the time. If you go for 50 runs for 2 wickets in 10 overs, I think it’s good.
