Saha and Shubman Gill are at the crease. Saha is on strike. Hardik Pandya will open the attack
A big roar from the crowd as the players make their way out to the middle.
We've made a few changes to the Expert XII. Have a quick look at our Fantasy Handbook
Here are the Impact substitutes for both the teams:
Gujarat Titans Subs: BR Sharath, Mohit Sharma, Manav Suthar, Abhinav Manohar, Noor Ahmad
Mumbai Indians Subs: Dewald Brevis, Romario Shepherd, Vishnu Vinod, Nehal Wadhera, Mohammad Nabi
Teams:
Gujarat Titans (Playing XI): Shubman Gill(c), Wriddhiman Saha(w), Sai Sudharsan, Vijay Shankar, David Miller, Azmatullah Omarzai, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Umesh Yadav, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, Spencer Johnson

Shubman Gill: Feels exciting to captain in a stadium where I have enjoyed a lot of success. The support has been tremendous. I was a week prior before this game, played a practice match. We have got three players making debuts for GT - Umesh, Johnson and Omarzai.
Hardik Pandya: We are gonna bowl first.
Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have opted to field
Pitch Report | Ian Bishop: Looks a beautiful playing surface. 63 metres, 66 metres and 73 metres downtown.
Spencer Johnson receives his cap
Mumbai Indians too have been dealt with some injury blows. Jason Behrendorff and Dilshan Madushanka are out of this season with Luke Wood and Kwena Maphaka replacing them. Suryakumar Yadav will miss today's match and even Gerald Coetzee may not be available. Despite all that, they have a strong batting line-up and their pace attack is the stronger suit in the bowling department. Tim David will be the finisher with the bat.
Shubman Gill, the leading run-getter of the previous season, is GT's new captain. It's a new challenge for the stylish batter as he doesn't have much experience as a leader. However, there will still be a lot of eyeballs on how he leads the side. Another future Indian captain in the making? Time will tell. The top three wicket-takers all were from Gujarat in IPL 2023 but they'll be without their spearhead - Mohammed Shami - who has been ruled out of this competition. No Hardik and Shami, those are two massive holes to fill. It'll also be interesting to see which four overseas players make it to the XI. Rashid Khan and David Miller are highly likely to make it. One frontline bowler should also feature - Spencer Johnson or Noor Ahmad or Joshua Little. The other spot will be the toughest decision for the team management. Will they play the experienced Kane Williamson who offers a lot of stability to the batting or will they be tempted to pick Azmatullah Omarzai, the talented all-rounder?
18:10 Local Time, 12:40 GMT, 18:10 IST: Mumbai vs Gujarat is the Western Derby that would be earmarked as a marquee game from here on. Hardik Pandya was a homegrown talent at MI. But he left MI and led Gujarat to two finals, winning one and losing one. He is back at MI. But the Rohit Sharma fans and a few experts aren't pleased. Rohit has won five titles with MI but his removal from captaincy wasn't taken that well by a majority of the MI fans. So, Hardik against his former team finds himself in a soup. But that's what IPL does. It puts you in a spot. Hello and welcome to game 5 of the IPL.
