India Women have won the toss and have opted to field
India continue to play impressive cricket as they have taken a 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series. In the previous game, the Indian spinners had a gala time on a slightly sluggish surface and choked the Bangladeshi batters in the middle and death overs. Bangladesh were bowled out for a below-par score. Chasing 120, India lost Shafali Verma for a duck. But, Dayalan Hemalatha in her comeback game scored a brisk 21-ball 41* to put India in the driver’s seat. Rain interrupted proceedings for the second time but by then, more than 5 overs were bowled and India were 19 runs ahead according to DLS method and notched up a convincing victory. The Bangladeshi batters need to put their act together otherwise it will be too late. Can the hosts bounce back and keep the series alive? Or will India seal the series today itself? Stick around for the toss and team lineups...
