22:46 Local Time, 17:16 GMT, 22:46 IST: At the halfway stage, CSG would have felt that they are the favourites but LKK have done extremely well to defend a moderate total. The impact player for CSG, Santhosh, got out for a duck. Aparajith played some brilliant strokes to get going but Jagadeesan struggled at the other end. Once the spinners came in for a bowl, things became more tricky for CSG. Both batters fell in quick succession and the new batters found it difficult to get going on a slightly two-paced surface. Subramanyan was especially outstanding as he got the ball to grip and turn and bowled a brilliant spell. Pradosh Paul hanged in there but he missed out on numerous loose deliveries. Aparajith called him back to the dugout with seven balls left in the innings as he was retired out. Tanwar hit a six straightaway after that as CSG needed 18 runs off the last over. But, Mohammed bowled a brilliant final over and closed out the game with consummate ease.
