The powerplay yielded just 35 runs for the loss of 2 wickets and the spinners then put the squeeze in the middle overs. The Spartans had 8 batters getting into double digits but none of them crossed Robin Bist's 23. There were starts and cameos that's all. Sonu Yadav was the star for the Royal Kings as he not only picked up 5 wickets but was everywhere in the field, taking 3 catches.
