Welcome back for the chase.
Gudakesh Motie: Stuck to my plans, bowled wicket to wicket. He (de Kock) was looking dangerous, I just wanted to put it in the right areas and I knew I would get success. We had a plan and we stuck to it, and it worked for us. We know the conditions here, once we bowl into the wicket, we knew we will get success. There weren't any nerves, I play a lot of cricket and I knew my abilities and just stuck to it.
20:56 Local Time, 00:56 GMT, 06:26 IST: A decent total posted by Barbados Royals, but not sure whether it's enough to challenge the defending champions. The Royals lost an early wicket in the form of de Kock as Motie dismissed him within the powerplay. And once de Kock departed, Cornwall played a cameo, however, Shepherd dismissed him within the powerplay as well. The batters who followed next got starts, but none of them were able to kick on as the spinners kept taking wickets at regular intervals in the middle overs. Miller who smashed the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Eliminator looked in good touch once again. He started off his innings by smashing a couple of sixes in Tahir's final over and played some impressive shots following that and built a crucial partnership with Holder for the sixth wicket. Shepherd bowled an excellent 20th over as he hardly conceded any runs. The Warriors will be happy with that bowling effort. Back in 20 minutes for the second essay..
