Pitch Report: We are on the same pitch, pitch no. 5. It looks nice and fresh. It's even and the ball will come on nicely to the bat. You would want to keep the ball in and around the off-stump. There's enough on this surface to work for as a bowler. Getting forward is a good ploy on this surface, reckon Niall O'Brien and Vernon Philander
Tristan Stubbs: It was nipping around a bit, it was hard to rotate strike. We were three down and we tried to occupy the crease. I’m thankful that (his catch) went down, took the opportunity and thankfully, it went my way. (On the surface) You never quite feel in and it feels similar to St George’s, you get one of those balls that keeps low. You never get that sort of momentum but the longer you bat, it gets easier. Get myself in and see what the game asks me to do.
Teams:
Ireland (Playing XI): Andrew Balbirnie, Paul Stirling(c), Curtis Campher, Harry Tector, Stephen Doheny(w), George Dockrell, Mark Adair, Andy McBrine, Gavin Hoey, Graham Hume, Craig Young

14:30 Local Time, 10:30 GMT, 16:00 IST: Hello and a warm welcome to our live coverage of the second ODI of the series between Ireland and South Africa in Abu Dhabi. The Proteas were reduced to 39/3 in the first game but Rickelton and Stubbs not only bailed their side out of trouble with a 152-run stand but put their side into a position of strength. The South African bowlers were on the money from the word-go. Lizaad Williams shone with a 4-fer while the other bowlers also chipped in with wickets. Ireland were bundled out for a paltry 132 and that is certainly a cause of concern for their batting lineup.
