Sajid Khan to Brydon Carse, 1 run, chance! Carse comes down the track and hammers it back at the bowler. Sajid tries to reverse-cup it in his followthrough but the ball doesn't stick. That came very quickly

Pitch Report | Bazid Khan: "It was late yesterday that things really started to happen on this surface - technically the seventh day. It started to turn. The wicket of Duckett - outside off-stump and gets nicked off. Harry Brook - the ball is outside off-stump and it spins back in to hit the stumps. The development, the traffic is always going to be outside the tramlines, outside the main surface. Outside off-stump, you see a lot of developments, the bowlers have run through here. The bowlers will try and pitch here to get more off the surface. Outside leg-stump, traffic here with the bowlers running through. Right in the centre, there's not much to work with. The batters can maybe stand on middle and off or maybe off-stump to cover that. The real turn or the sharp turn is from quite a full length. It'll be interesting how the batters approach that, maybe a change in you stance. I still think if you can get through that initial period, you can bat long provided you don't get sucked into playing through the off-side to very full deliveries turning back in and also have a plan on how to tackle deliveries that are pitching outside leg-stump and turning."
09:30 Local Time, 04:30 GMT, 10:00 IST: Pakistan made drastic changes after suffering an innings defeat in the first Test. They brought in Kamran Ghulam for Babar Azam and the debutant notched up a superb century on the opening day. They stacked their XI with spinners and finally on the seventh day, the ball spun significantly to trouble the batters.
Ben Duckett: Batting against spin, I like to think it's a strength of mine. Batting against the new ball here can be a fraction easier at times. Obviously back opening with Zak was nice. (On his sweep shots) It's a strength I like to go to. When you first walk out to bat, there's a lot of men around the bat, my theory is to try and get rid of them and look to put the bowler under pressure as well. I didn't hit all of them, but tried to get the field out and tried to make life easier for myself. (On the surface) It felt like it was spinning. We actually thought that it might be tougher against the new ball but the softer the ball got, it got a fraction harder. There wasn't really a gameplan that we had. Credit to them, they made us work extremely hard for our wickets. They played really well and we also bowled well. Our seamers ran in and took a lot of wickets on a pitch that didn't offer much for seam. And then it was down to us and to be honest, they put us under pressure and kept their catchers in and made it extremely hard for us at times. Couple of wickets we lost at the back end there. It's going to be a big hour in the first morning (tomorrow). If we can try and get as close as we can to their target, the game is going to move forward and it's going to be a good game. We can look at how they bowled. The pace that their spinners bowled, they bowled maybe a fraction quicker. Every half an hour moving forward now, that pitch is getting older. It was a big toss and it didn't do quite as much yesterday. We stuck to our guns and took 10 wickets. We know that the pitch is going to get harder to bat on. We are going to be batting last, so that morning tomorrow is going to be huge. Hopefully we can bowl like we did in the second innings of the first Test and try and get a bit of a collapse and hopefully we'll be in for a good game.
