The players are out in the middle and we are ready for live action..
Pitch report: We saw a few early wickets falling in the morning sessions on the previous two days and the trend might continue. The first session is going to be crucial, so the bowlers should make use of it. There a couple of cracks, but the wicket is still very hard. It's placid and good for batting. Won't be much assistance for bowlers, reckons Curtly Ambrose.
09:30 Local Time, 13:30 GMT, 19:00 IST: West Indies dominated the first couple of days of the Test as the hosts notched up a massive total of 450/9 before they declared. Mikyle Louis and Alick Athanaze played impressive knocks on the first day, but it was Justin Greaves who stole the show by scoring his maiden Test hundred on Day 2. In reply, Bangladesh lost a couple of wickets in the final session and the visitors trail by a massive margin of 410 runs with three days remaining in this game. The West Indian pacers have kept things tight and they’ll be looking forward to taking some early wickets today. Hopefully we have a cracking first session, stay around as start of play is not far away..
Kemar Roach speaking after the day's play: We lost two wickets early, Josh and Alzarri. The plan was to get a partnership, ticking some boxes - 300, 350, 400. The communication was fantastic and the partnership showed for itself and we did a fantastic job. Me and Justin come from the country, he backed me in that situation and it paid off. We are good mates and we have had good conversations even off the field and that helped. [on Greaves] Fantastic work ethic, he wants to learn and asks a lot of questions. Now he has really kicked on and I urge him to keep going. He has a lot left in him. More heartbreak was not being there for Justin's 100, I wanted to hug him. [on a Test 50] Jason [Holder] keeps telling me he wants me to get one before I go. We have always contributed at the back end, to get 400-450, amazing as a batting group. It's a pretty good pitch but we are a skilful group, some discussions tonight and we will be good.
