A big first hjour coming up, you'd think the team winning the first few moments will go a long way in wrapping up the Test.
'Feeling relaxed and much better when compared to the first day', says Mohammad Abbas. Having been back after 3 years, the pressure was different, I will give my best today as well.I am the senior bowler, will try and do my best, bowl in the right areas. Hopefully, we'll get some help from the pitch and off the pitch. I also have a look at how the batters respond, if they're on the front-foot or the back-foot, I'm not worried about bowling long spells, I want to give some happiness to my country.
'There was an inch of rain overnight, but it's nice and humid this morning. There is some scarring, it's dry and when you land in the right area, the bowlers can exploit the conditions', reckon Shaun Pollock and Mike Haysman, in their pitch report.
We're not going to have an early start. Play will start at 10 am with extended sessions
Here's the latest on the weather front from our man, Telford Vice: 'We had a biblical thunderstorm overnight, but so far this morning it’s been dry. And perhaps even a little less grey than it was at the same time yesterday'.
9 am local: This game of cricket has been more like that of a ping pong. The momentum has changed hands at the pace of knots. Day 1 had Pakistan being shunted out for 211 before SA were jabbed at by Pakistan. SA had their moments on day 2 but let a few ones slip as well before Corbin Bosch owned it for the hosts with his fearless display. Pakistan then started with gay abandon in their second innings but again lost way by the end of day 2. Day 3 saw lots of rain but the action that was sandwiched again saw both teams playing passing the baton(momentum). Day 4 should be the final day and SA need 121 runs to earn the first ticket to WTC final. Pakistan need 7 wickets to deny them that for the moment being. A test win in SA has been elusive for Asian units and Pakistan would be elated if they can spring in a surprise or two. Fasten your seat belts because this is going to be a Topsy turvy ride!

Rain. Runs. Ruins. It was an action packed rain curtailed day at the SuperSport Park. 10 wickets fell. Babar and Shakeel scored some runs and at the end of day 3, it seems the game is in the balance. It wasn't when Pakistan handed a target of only 148. But the visitors known for their out of the bolt performances thrived under pressure and bargained three early wickets to have SA reeling at 27 for 3 by the end of day 3. Markram has looked solid but the deck has enough it to keep the bowlers interested. We'll be back tomorrow as this riveting Test heads to a finish. For now, cheers and bye..
17:57 Local Time, 15:57 GMT, 21:27 IST: Nitin Menon takes a reading and asks Shan Masood if he wants to bring on a spinner. The Pakistan captain refuses and that'll be stumps on Day 3
8.6
Khurram Shahzad to Markram, no run
8.5
Khurram Shahzad to Markram, FOUR, beautifully played, Markram is looking in good touch once again, leg-stump half-volley, Markram le4ans across, presents the full face of the bat and then drives it through mid-wicket for another boundary
It does look dark and the floodlights are slowly taking full effect
8.4
Khurram Shahzad to Markram, no run, short of a good length and slanting across the right-hander, another leave from Markram
8.3
Khurram Shahzad to Markram, no run
8.2
Khurram Shahzad to Markram, FOUR, edged and four, not convincing, but this'll relieve some pressure, the awayswinger and Markram went chasing on the drive, gets a thick edge which flew behind square on the off-side for a boundary
