Turner: We are going to bowl first. Looks like a pretty good surface. This should be a great game. The weather gods have been kind to us. We've got a couple of changes. Every game has more weight to it.

For the Sixers, in-form James Vince is no longer available.
15:45 Local Time, 04:45 GMT, 10:15 IST: Two of the most successful teams in the history of BBL will lock horns against each other in today's first encounter and the iconic SCG will be the battleground. Both Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers haven't won a game since the turn of the year. While this is not a must-win game for either of them, a loss would dent their chances of making it to the top-four. The Scorchers come into the match on the back of successive losses with Mitch Marsh rested and Matt Kelly left out of this contest. Matthew Hurst, who has played a couple of cameos at the top of the order returns to the squad and Mahli Beardman - the 19-year-old pacer has been added to the squad.
