Pitch Report: "This is the first time this pitch is being used at night. But there were 200+ scores in the afternoon games. There is a lovely covering grass. At first glance it looks like a good T20 wicket. See off the first 2-3 overs and the ball will come on evenly. This pitch is the highest-scoring in the tournament," reckon Alan Wilkins and Wasim Akram.
Couple of big changes for both teams. Will Jacks comes into the MI Emirates' XI and he gives them an extra option with the ball while being gun at the top of the order. Adam Zampa has gone back home and that has definitely weakend Sharjah Warriorz. How big a miss is he going to be? We too have made a couple of changes to our pre-toss Expert XI. You can check them out by logging into Fantasy Handbook.
Nicholas Pooran: Very happy to bat or bowl first. The conditions here does not have much for the spinners.
Tim Southee: We are going to have a bowl. Something we have done well in the last few games and the surface is good in the evening game. We are always excited to be back here and we have played some good cricket in the last 3-4 games. That is something you assess as the game goes on.

17:30 Local Time, 13:30 GMT, 19:00 IST: Dubai Capitals have already booked a place in the final. Table toppers Desert Vipers lost the Qualifier 1 and now await the winner of this game between - MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriorz. Hello and welcome to the Eliminator.. There is not a lot to choose between the two teams today. MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriorz had the same number of wins and defeats in the league phase, only seperated by their NRR. The head to head also is 1:1 with both sides winning their respective games against the other by a convincing margin. The Emirates were there and thereabouts for the playoff race but the Warriorz made a late dash with three wins in their last three league games. So, momentum wise it is the Warriorz who are the favourites but when it comes to skill in their respective squads then Emirates are superior and will be bolstered further by the addition of Will Jacks. Should be a fun battle. Toss and teams coming up.. Stay tuned
