That'll be tea on Day 1 and it was a session pocketed by the Australians. 28 overs bowled, 57 runs conceded and they took 4 key wickets. Dimuth Karunaratne's penultimate Test innings ended after being bowled by Lyon, Angelo Mathews was kept quiet and his innings was cut short by a wide drifter. Travis Head was handed the ball and he responded with the wicket of Kamindu Mendis. In the midst of all these, Mitchell Starc was getting the ball to reverse appreciably and one suc ball caused the downfall of DDS. Dinesh Chandimal has fought hard and so has Kusal Mendis, but at 144 for 5, it's the Australians who are well ahead.
