The national anthems of both teams are done. The umpires are making their way out to the middle.
"This is a used pitch," informs Andrew Leonard on air. Both captains wanted to bowl first and Carlos Brathwaite says it is "primarily due to weather". There is a bit of rain predicted some time in the day and both teams wanted to know what they would be chasing. Nonetheless, it is Ireland who won the toss and Stirling's men will be having first crack of the conditions.

09:45 Local Time, 08:45 GMT, 14:15 IST: After a thrashing in the first ODI, West Indies turned up in the second but were denied a chance of levelling the series due to rain and hence we arrive for the third ODI with Ireland still leading the series 1-0. They haven't won a home series since 2019 and today gives them a great opportunity to break that rut. They were excellent in the first game with the batters posting 300+ and the bowlers rolling over West Indies for 179, things didn't go according to plan in the second game as they allowed West Indies to post 352 and were saved the trouble of chasing by rain. Keacy Carty scored a well-compiled hundred but it was Matthew Forde who walked away with the headlines in the called off game. The all-rounder scored the joint fastest fifty in ODIs as he got there in just 16 balls and in the process have West Indies a strong finish. Batting first has seen teams post 300+ in both games but with a bit of weather around it will be interesting to see what the captains decide. Toss and teams coming up..
