Josh Hazlewood: I’m enjoying it. Once we saw West Indies take the second new ball, things started happening. There were a few cracks probably on a short of a length which kept the batters guessing and we kept hitting that length.
18:17 Local Time, 22:17 GMT, 03:47 IST: Windies needing 301 to win started off on a poor note losing Brathwaite in the first over. It was a sign of things of things to come as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Halzewood rejoiced with a fifer and all the detractors were silenced. Towards the end, Greaves and Joseph went after the bowling and added a few quick runs. But that was never enough as the mountain of runs got to them eventually.
18:16 Local Time, 22:16 GMT, 03:46 IST: It is a huge win for the Aussies. Coming into day 3 it seemed the game was in the balance. But that's when the visitors played their A game. Yes, Windies were a little poor on the field. But Head got a chance and capitalized. Webster batted with confidence. And Carey did what he does best by counterattacking. Once Australia moved past 250 as a lead, it seemed very tough for the visitors. The game was in the balance at the start of the day but the pendulum swung only one way and that was in favour of the visitors.
