Najmul Shjanto - We'll bat first, look like a hard wicket and there will be some true bounce. The drainage system here is pretty good, weather isn't a concern for us, we are looking to play good cricket. As a team, we've to do a lot of good things to improve our standards. We are playing three pacers and two spinners.
The pitch looks green, it looks brown, but there's grass on top and there could be some moisture, the first couple of hours could be very vital. Plenty of movement on offer for the seamers in the first session, reckons Farveez Maharoof, in his pitch report

Test cricket returns amidst a slew of T20 leagues and Zimbabwe are in the sub-continent for a two-Test series against Bangladesh. We're at Sylhet where the weather is iffy, but it's held up nicely so far and we should have a prompt start. Changes in the set-up of both teams with both teams allowing a couple of their players to feature in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). The forecast is for some bad weather on all the five days of the Test, but hopefully we'll get enough cricket to obtain a result.
