Bangladesh are in a huddle with Najmul Shanto doing all the talking.
A presentation before we kick-off proceedings. David Boon, the ICC match referee, will retire after this Test and he's presented with a plaque on behalf of the ICC
Najmul Shanto - We would have batted first, but don't mind batting second as this wicket stays good for at least 3-4 days. We've worked hard to prepare for this Test. We've made the changes as well.
Craig Ervine - We will bat first, a lot less grass here, looks dry and hopefully we can make the most of the surface. It's massive, you always want to win Tests, we got one, we need to enjoy it, but we'll have to repeat the process here. Two changes for us.
It has always been a batting paradise with the teams batting first going on to make more than 500 runs in the last two games. The pitch is slightly whitish in colour, there is some grass, but nothing like in Sylhet. There are a few cracks around, some green tinge, but this is a good batting surface. Win the toss, bat and put the runs on the board, says Athar Ali Khan, in his pitch report

Some team news - Bangladesh will be making at least one forced change with Nahid Rana flying out to Pakistan for the PSL. Atif Azam says a cap presentation was done with Tanzim Sakib set to make his Test debut.
09:05 Local Time, 03:05 GMT, 08:35 IST: A collective team effort saw Zimbabwe upstage hosts Bangladesh in the first Test in Sylhet. It was a pitch that had everything in for the bowlers and it was the visitors who looked more accustomed to the conditions. Having been set-up a record 4th innings chase, Zimbabwe did suffer the familiar uncertain moments, but they did come up as deserved victors in the end. We have now moved from Sylhet to Chattogram, the series can't be won for the hosts, but they can still share the spoils. The two teams have played at the Zahuri Ahmed Chowdhary stadium only once and that was way back in 2014. Weather wise, we might get a few interruptions, but we should still get a lot of cricket in.
