Malki Madara to Wolvaardt, no run, on a good length and angling into the pads, Wolvaardt swings across the line and misses, off the pad and lobbed to the off-side
0.1
Malki Madara to Wolvaardt, no ball, fuller length delivery and well wide of off, left alone, but Madara has overstepped, so a free-hit straightaway
Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits are at the crease. Wolvaardt is on strike. Malki Madara will open the attack
The players are out in the middle and we're set to start..
Laura Wolvaardt - We would have batted, a used wicket, could possibly get lower and slower. We're looking at around high 200s. We're playing the same team. Disappointing not to win the first game, but a lot of learnings and reflections from the game.
Chamari Athapaththu - We will bowl first. The first 10 overs will be tough for batting, confident about our bowling, we've good spinners, 250 should be a good score. We've made three changes.
Nice and bright, it's hot and humid, there are some clouds and there could be some rain. This is the second match on this surface, it looks abrasive, lighter and drier. Looks hard and there should be good carry and bounce, there could be some turn on offer, the outfield is quick and the conditions are good. The team winning the toss should ideally opt to bat first, says Gamini Perera, in his pitch report
There was a lot of overnight rain, but it has cleared up nicely and we're starting on time. We've made one change to our pre-toss FH expert XI, have a look before finalizing your picks.

9 am local: It's Match 3 and it's Sri Lanka taking on South Africa in a crucial game for both teams. They've both lost their opening match to India, Sri Lanka in a convincing fashion and South Africa in a close contest. The latter dominated the run-chase for most part but then ran out of steam towards the closing stages, falling away to Sneh Rana's spin. But they'd have taken plenty of positives from that game and will be confident of putting one over the hosts. On the other hand, Sri Lanka looked second best in the opening match of the tournament and will look to put up a better show today.
