Nicholas Pooran: The break came at the right time for us. Obviously we lost a lot of momentum in the middle stage of the competition but it gave us a chance to reflect on our season so far, both personally and from a team's perspective. Hopefully it works out for us. Again it is the part of the tournament where you need one game to go your way and all other things change, let's hope tonight is one of those games for us. Some things we can't control, some things we can like the processes and that is something we need to really understand. Personally I have been disappointed in the last few games and hopefully I can continue to trust myself, play the game in the right way, understand the conditions and have an impact on the game tonight. I expect to score runs every single game, I set high standards for myself but in Lucknow we haven't been good over the last couple of seasons, hopefully tonight we can try and stay in the game as long as possible, bowling partnerships, batting partnerships, batters who are set to try and go deep and not leave it for anyone else, tick those small boxes and give ourselves a chance to move forward in the tournament.
Here are the Impact substitutes for both the teams:
Lucknow Super Giants Impact Subs: Himmat Singh, Shahbaz Ahamad, M Siddharth, Shardul Thakur, David Miller.
