That's it for the TNPL for tonight. Tomorrow is the last game here in Coimbatore, so do join us then. Until next time, sleep tight and wake up to our non-stop coverage of all the cricket around the globe. Escape for now.
Jagadeesan | CSG captain: The credit has to go the bowlers, especially Harish, Rahil Shah and Silambarasan who did really well. The pitch was decent and our bowlers deserve all the credit. The ball turned a lot when Rahil Shah bowled, he bowled with a lot of sidespin. We were clear in our plans. I'm praying that Pradosh Paul does not get a chance to bowl (smiles). We literally love Hemang, on the field he is a total professional, off the field he is totally different, he is a jolly guy. The insights he gives me as captain is really valuable and he is unbelievable with his thoughts.
Sai Kishore | ITT captain: We thought 140-150 was a good score after we lost wickets, we were 30 runs short but compared to the last match this was a better batting performance. If you play normal cricketing shots in the powerplay you will get 40-45 runs, no need to powerhit. We will keep getting better. Since there are a lot of similar players, it has been chaotic but hopefully it will be sorted soon [on the batting order]. Dindigul is a fine batting wicket and we have a break of four days now - that should help.
Harish Kumar | Player of the Match: For the last one month, I have been practicing a lot. Have worked a lot with Arun and coach Hemang. The wicket was a bit sticky and it helped me. The plan was to bowl the hard length and mix it up with the cutters. I'm still learning a lot and have been working on my fitness a lot too.
Baba Aparajith: I think we're following the process, we bowled well today, we wanted to bat first, we were excellent in the batting powerplay. We were not complacent, started steadily and with 30-35 runs needed, we went on to play our shots. Anyone in the team can win the game for us. We'll have to wait and see, he'll go for a scan (on Rajagopal Sathish).
22:20 Local Time, 16:50 GMT, 22:20 IST: Another comfortable win for CSG and a second loss in a row for ITT. The total of 120 was never going to be enough against a very good CSG side and the class of Aparajith told. Despite losing Jagadeesan early on, Aparajith strung partnerships with the others and finished the game off in a hurry. For ITT, Sai Kishore was key but he was dominated by the batters. A thumping win for CSG which will help their NRR and ITT have a lot of things to worry about after just 2 games. Stay tuned for the presentation...
