That's it from us today. CPL action continues daily. Do make sure you join us tomorrow. Take care and goodbye.
Faf du Plessis: Helps winning the toss. Great fighting performance from our guys. 174 was probably 20 runs short on this wicket. Some great catches, they've been catching well, not the easiest ground to catch. It makes a big difference. Really important to start well and put pressure on the bowlers especially in a chase. You can break the back of the opposition. Tried to hit 60+ in the powerplay and important that one guy bats through, Charles did that really well. We turned it around really nicely today after two back to back losses. Nice to give the crowd something to smile about as well.
Andre Fletcher: We started well in the powerplay but I thought we slipped a bit in the middle bit, strike-rate could've been a bit higher. Credit to du Plessis for coming in and playing that innings. We have three more games left, we don't have a choice, have to go out there and find ways to win. Just have to try our best and see what we can do. We have to play hard cricket, try to execute as well as possible.
Johnson Charles | Player of the Match: It was a very good innings but I would've loved to finish it off for the team. Opening with Faf has always been good. We feed off of each other.
22:31 Local Time, 02:31 GMT, 08:01 IST: A slight hiccup towards the end for the Kings as the game dragged out an extra over or two but they get through to an important win.
