Yet another series pocketed by India Women at home. The newcomers are shining and things look bright. West Indies need more help from the others to back up Matthews. On that note we sign off from here. Wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you have a good festival. We will be back with more cricket soon. Do join us then. Until then take care and be well. Bye.
Harleen Deol | Player of the Match: Definitely it is a very proud moment for me, waiting for it for a long time, just enjoy it. When I came into bat, I just had that much time, I thought of playing some cricket. The more I play, the more shots I can play, that was on my mind, nothing else. When you are batting well, it's always easy no matter where you are batting. The last match I played, I thought of continuing that flow. Means a lot to me, when I was in rehab, I was thinking of scoring a century day in and day out. Ultimate goal was to make the team win and today was that dream so I just went with the flow. For me it's the first one, I don't know about the scrappy 100s, few shots were not on, talking to my partners, they were telling me those shots were not on, so go for the other shots.
Harmanpreet Kaur | India Women captain: What we were expecting, we exactly did that. Really happy that the openers gave us a 100-run stand. Then Harleen batting and Jemi supported too. The second innings, also when Hayley was batting, indicated that this pitch was better for the batters. We had a decent total on the board, the way our bowlers were bowling, we had the trust on them, at any point we can take their wicket and turn the table. In between we leaked a few runs, Deepti came back and bowled well, the other side Titas came back and took the wicket. Really happy that the bowlers did well.
Hayley Matthews | West Indies Women captain: Did not expect us to chase 359 after the first innings. Kudos to their batters, they have some talented batters who have stepped up in the last two matches. We have to find ways to restrict them and take early wickets as well. This series is very important for us and we have got to look at the last game now, for us - two points is crucial, if we win our remaining 4 games we can still qualify. Rest up tomorrow, have a good Christmas and then get back to work. It's always good to contribute to the team. Bitter-sweet to be on the losing team. Good to spend time in the middle and hopefully can use that in the next match.
Pratika Rawal: [on what she prefers?] The batting I think, that's what I like doing, so batting. I just did what I did in the last match, play on merit. The wicket was better than the last match, the bounce was good, it was coming nicely onto the bat, whatever was in my slot, I tried to hit as hard as possible. He [Amol Muzumdar] changed something in my grip in my last training session which helped me a lot. I was not able to hold my nerves in the previous game, I was more confident today, that's was the difference. I was told in the practice sessiions that I might get bowling in the match and I was happy that I could contribute to the team.
21:05 Local Time, 15:35 GMT, 21:05 IST: Dominant India win the series 2-0 with a game to go. Chasing 359 was always going to be tough and even though West Indies batted much better tonight, they still fall short by 115 runs.
