That's a wrap from the double-header. But we have another one coming up tomorrow. So join us for those games. Until next time, goodbye and stay safe..
Glenn Maxwell: We executed really well. We adjusted to the conditions. They started really well and we were able to drag it back with a couple of wickets, we were able to take those key wickets whole way through. I have been in this competition for a short span of time, we were very blessed with a healthy USA contingent from last year and was a big reason why we won the title.
Ian Holland | Player of the Match: I have been come into a group with so much international experience, the coaches that we have, I have been greatful for the opportunity. It has been a great couple of years.
Heinrich Klaasen: Wicket (pitch) was slower. We lost momentum and lost too many wickets. We couldn't capitalise at the back end. No not at all (Asked if they need to reshuffle the order). We were expensive, but the moment we hit our lengths it was a different wicket to bat on. Nothing to worry about
21:21 Local Time, 04:21 GMT, 09:51 IST: The target was never going to be enough and Washington Freedom, though lost a few wickets, have cantered home with almost 7 overs to spare. The defending champions needed a statement win after the walloping in their opening game and they have done just that.
