Biography
T20's biggest contribution to world cricket is the rebirth of leg-spin. The likes of Rashid Khan, Adil Rashid, Shadab Khan, Yuzi Chahal, Imran Tahir et al are all products of T20 cricket. A format which has power at the epicentre of it in fact has the leggies playing the most pivotal and telling part.
Dyllan Matthews is no stranger to the format either. During the African T20 Cup in 2018, the young leggie impressed all and sundry by snaring up 10 wickets for Easterns. He started off his career at North West and played a game for the Lions in the Sunfoil Series in the 2017-18 season but since has moved to Easterns and is available to play for the Titans in the premier first-class format.
