Biography
One of the many South Africans almost lost to the Kolpak rule, David Bedingham is a stylish middle order batter who can also double up as a wicket-keeper. Bedingham scored plenty of runs in the domestic competitions in South Africa, but an International call up remained elusive.
Hence, when a chance to sign with Durham came onto his table, Bedingham found it touch to refuse. He performed well for Durham in the domestic seasons, and also got picked by the Birmingham Phoenix in 2021. However, with the Kolpak rule being scrapped post Brexit, Bedingham returned to South Africa and got his debut against India on Boxing Day, 2023.
