Biography

Jordan Cox is a right-handed wicket-keeper batter that plays for Kent. Making his way up through club cricket, Cox first played for Kent's 2nd XI in 2017. Impressive performances for the 2nd XI meant that he was soon called up to the 1st XI and handed a first-class debut in 2019. His performances were noted by the ECB too and he was named in England's squad for the Under-19 World Cup in 2020.

Cox's converted his maiden first-class century into a double and shared a record-breaking 423-run partnership with Jack Leaning. He was also the player of the match for his 28-ball 58 during Kent's title-winning final in the 2021 T20 Blast. He was drafted into the Oval Invincibles squad in The Hundred and also played for the Hobart Hurricanes in the 2021/22 edition of the BBL. He also earned contracts from the Dambulla Aura in the LPL and the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20. He moved to the Melbourne Renegades for the 2023/24 season of the BBL.
