Biography
Mohammad Adeel Khalid Raja, a Pakistan-born Netherlands cricketer has had a turbulent career with the Dutch team. He started playing age-group cricket for Netherlands and also toured England with the Under-17 side in 1997.
Raja made his ODI debut in 2002 against Sri Lanka and was impressive, picking up 2 wickets. He made his first-class debut for Netherlands against Scotland in 2004. A string of average performances followed before he hit a road-block in 2007. In one of the biggest blows' to his career, Raja was banned for two years after failing a random drug test during a domestic match in September.
After his comeback from the ban, Raja was not able to secure a permanent place in the team. He last played an ODI during the 2011 World Cup and has not featured for Netherlands since then.
