Biography

Amy Ellen is a wicket-keeper batter who made her international debut in a memorable 2013 World Cup match against Sri Lanka which England lost on the final ball. She was the second highest-scorer for her team but that wasn't good enough to keep her place in the English team. She next played an ODI months later in January 2014.

Amy represents Warwickshire in domestic cricket and for years she has been considered as one of the best talents there. She became a regular in the England side following Sarah Taylor's retirement and made the place her own with an innings of 94 against Indian in early 2018. In 2019, she was awarded a full central contract by the ECB.

Amy is an integral part and is the first-choice wicketkeeper for England in all formats.

Personal life: Amy is in a relationship with Piepa Cleary from Australia. In order to be together, in 2021, Cleary relocated to England and both are now based in Leicestershire.
