Graham Clark has come through the Durham youth system. He has been at the county side since age group cricket and also played for the second XIs. His breakthrough season came when Durham were relegated from Division One.
With most players leaving the side in 2017, Durham were forced to give a chance to youngsters. Clark had been in and around the squad, most noticeably in the shorter formats where he scored 91 against Yorkshire in the 2015 T20 Blast.
His chance in the longer format came in the aftermath of the relegation. The talented right-hand batsman, who prefers to open, claimed a regular place in the middle order through consistent performances. Clark struck his maiden List A hundred against Worcestershire and followed it up with his first county ton versus Glamorgan; both in the 2017 season. He has now become an integral part of the Durham side.
Graham is the youngest of three brothers. His elder brother Darren played a bit for Cumberland, while middle brother Jordan plays as an all-rounder for Lancashire.
