Biography

Levi announced himself on to the world stage with belligerent unbeaten 117 against New Zealand in a T20I. It was only his second match in South African colours and he broke plenty of records with that innings. He still holds the record for fastest hundred in T20Is, the knock came off just 45 balls. Levi was a student at Cape Ivy League schools, he also represented South Africa in the U-19 World Cup in 2006.

However, after that hundred he has failed to seize the opportunity to cement his place. In 13 T20I matches he has played he went past 50 only one other time. After a string of low scorers, he was dropped from the side and was also overlooked for the 2014 T20 World Cup.

Levi also played in the Indian T20 League in 2012, he was picked up by Mumbai Indians for $400,000 but didn't make much of an impact.
