Peter Younghusband was born in Harare, Mashonaland and plays domestic cricket in New Zealand, more specifically for Wellington. He began is career with List A cricket and slowly transformed into an all format player.
His first taste for Wellington came in 2015 in a 50-over game. Two years later he was playing his first game in whites. An impressive 2017/18 season, which saw him register his highest first class score of 97, opened doors for a new contract for the upcoming summer.
Younghusband is more than a useful leg-break bowler and has already picked a 5-fer in his short career. So, he will be the one to watch out for in the following seasons for Wellington.
