Biography
Delhi based Kulwant Khejroliya enjoyed a prolific 2017-18 season in all formats of the game and played a big role in his team's journey to the final of the Ranji Trophy. While he continues his development in the red-ball format of the game, Khejroliya's exploits in the white-form format of the game didn't go unnoticed.
IPL through the years
With Ashish Nehra's rise as RCB's bowling coach, it wasn't a surprise that he plumped for the inclusion of Delhi left-arm pacer, Khulwant Khejoriya, into the squad. Going into the auctions with a base price of rupees twenty lakhs, Khejoriya's price graph saw an upward curve, with RCB finding stiff resistance from the Mumbai Indians and later Sunrisers Hyderabad. Eventually, RCB got their man for 85 lakhs - strengthening their pace bowling department. He didn't have a big role to play during the 11th edition of the cash-rich league, but he impressed the team management enough to be retained as part of the core team ahead of the next season in 2019. He also played a fringe part with Mumbai Indians before.
