"England will mostly be without Stokes again. He batted in the nets last two days but only took throwdowns and faced a couple of local spinners. And didn't seem to be moving too well on both days. Buttler said it is 'probably unlikely' he plays this game," Prakash updates on England. "Bangladesh meanwhile, could consider a third spinner in place of Mahmudullah, probably Nasum Ahmed, if the track is slow again like the other day when they played Afghanistan. Today's game will be played on a different pitch though," he adds about Bangladesh.

Here's an early update from the ground by Prakash Govindasreenivasan - "It's a sunny morning but there was rain last night, which couldn't have been good for the outfield that has been under the scanner since the last game here on Saturday. Jos Buttler was the latest to slam it yesterday, calling it 'poor'. He's not happy to be in a situation where players have to hold themselves back when it comes to putting in dives in the deep."

Bangladesh came into this World Cup with two of their senior players - Shakib and Tamim - clashing off the field due to selection differences but the victory against Afghanistan has silenced everything. Most of the players had a role in the win but the star performer was Mehidy Hasan Miraz. The all rounder is slowly coming out of Shakib's shadow and turning into one of the key players. He picked up a 3-fer and followed it up with a 50+ score. Is this tournament going to see the baton being passed on from Shakib to Mehidy? Bangladesh fans will certainly hope so..

Lot of the noise after England were annihilated in the opening game was about lack of intent. It seemed they had gone back to the pre Eoin Morgan era where the batters could not post a competitive total on fairly flat surface. But the bowling too has to be questioned as they picked only one wicket and that was a strangle down leg. All three departments were poor against New Zealand but they have had time to rectify those mistakes and we can expect them to come out all guns blazing. Ben Stokes is still not fit and he will be a massive miss but there's enough firepower to get their campaign going.

09:30 Local Time, 04:00 GMT:The World Cup action shifts back to Dharamsala where England take on Bangladesh. Known as one of the scenic venues in India, Dharamsala has come under the scanner after it hosted Bangladesh and Afghanistan few days back. The outfield is deemed average by the ICC and England skipper Jos Buttler voiced his concern on playing in such poor conditions. But both teams will have to get on with it and focus on the two points at hand especially England who were battered in the opener by New Zealand. They would want to stamp their authority on the tournament as defending champions but Bangladesh won't be easy opponents at least in these conditions. Can England bounce back? Or will Bangladesh continue their winning start? Hello and welcome..

Dharamsala is so much about the altitude, and one of the best panoramic views of snow-capped mountains a cricket stadium can offer. Not that England can afford to pause and admire it too much. The defending champions are at venue No.2 of 8 in a World Cup with a hectic travel schedule and expectations of going all the way.

The conditions in Ahmedabad clipped their enormous white-ball wings and gave them an early jolt, but Dharamsala should be kinder. At this venue 1457 metres above sea level, the ball flies. If a crashing and burning England side could push themselves to 282 in Ahmedabad, imagine what a slightly more efficient effort could get them in Dharamsala.

Bangladesh certainly wouldn't want to. A slow pitch and Afghanistan's naivety played their part, but Shakib Al Hasan's side did a lot of things right to give their World Cup campaign a clinical start. The three-pace, two-spin combination worked, as did many of Shakib's on-field calls of orchestrating them, which should fill Bangladesh with the hope of becoming the earliest giant-killers of the tournament on Tuesday.

Should the pitch - a different one for this game - play slow, Bangladesh have the weaponry to box England in and be their bogey team again. Such a result will not have the impact it did in 2015, when England were pushed to a soul-searching expedition in the format, but two defeats in two could still be nauseating for a pre-tournament favourite. And that won't be because of the altitude.

What to expect: Hot day, new pitch and more focus on the 'average' outfield. Afghanistan weren't happy with it but the England game will go on.

As for the pitch, England will hope the swap leads them to a surface that Liam Livingstone played on in the IPL in May, where he smashed nine sixes in the space of 48 deliveries.

Tactics & Strategy:Liam Livingstone has said England will double down on their white-ball approach having lost their World Cup opener. Dawid Malan, Jos Buttler and Mooen Ali spent a lot of their time on Monday giving the charge to the local spinners summoned to bowl at the nets. Expect a lot of proactive batting against Shakib & co.

Bangladesh: In anticipation of another spin-friendly track, Bangladesh could be tempted to bring in a third spinner - Nasum Ahmed or Mahedi Hasan - for Mahmudullah. It also won't hurt to have a genuine sixth bowling option against the batting might of England.

Tactics & Strategy: Mehidy Hasan Miraz could be in for an early bowling shift in order to contain left-handed opener Dawid Malan, who he has a good record against in this format. Bangladesh will rely heavily on their spinners to choke England through the middle but they'll need their quicks to open and close out the innings well. Bangladesh appear to be in good hands in that regard as Shoriful Islam averages 11.88 in the first PowerPlay (1-10 overs) this year while Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman have been experts at the death (41-50 overs) - with averages of 12.14 and 14.08 respectively.
