Player of Match: Imad Wasim

So it's going to be Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United in the final on Monday. Do join us for it. Until then, it's goodbye!
Shadab Khan, Islamabad captain: We haven't played a perfect game but still we're into the final. One perfect game is remaining. Belief was there. Doesn't matter what the situation was, the belief was there. He was under pressure when he dropped a catch (why he didn't bowl Hunain). So I don't want to expose him. As a player when you miss chances, it doesn't go your way. We had seven options so we covered him up. These matches come down to attitude. Stay calm in pressure situations and if attitude is there, it'll go your way. He has done so much hardwork (Haider Ali). I'm happy for him. I've seen his potential when I was Northern captain. He played for Rawalpindi as well. Initially we didn't pick him. Before PSL, in press conference also they asked me who'll be match-winner and I said Haider Ali. I knew he was in good touch based on how he was playing in practice matches and in the nets. Very happy for him. Very nice bloke. Hasn't performed that well last few years, everyone criticised him. So I'm very happy for him. He's a matchwinner.
Imad Wasim, POTM: Today's wicket was better than before. The quicker you bowled, the better it was coming on. We thought it's a 190-200 wicket, we thought we did well. Last 4-5 overs we bowled well. They bowled really well early on. The wicket was so good. Just wanted to play ball by ball. The innings Haider played was just exceptional. I thought if I played 20 overs, we'll be with a good chance. Mostly credit goes to Haider. Momentum is with our side, but Multan is a very good team. We have a day tomorrow, will rest well. Do a lot of icing and massages. Anything can happen in the final.
Babar, Peshawar captain: After 10 overs we were in a good position. But after that the bowling was very bad. Conditions remained the same. We just didn't execute the plans. Credit to Imad and Haider the way he's playing. First 10 overs we were ahead, and then it was ordinary bowling. Thanks to the fans.
00:36 Local Time, 19:36 GMT, 01:06 IST: Imad and Haider hug each other, while Zalmi are a bit shellshocked. They were right on top with the ball in the powerplay, picking up four wickets and the target looked a long way away at that point. However, Imad Wasim and later Haider Ali batted beautifully. Imad started the recovery by giving the innings some stability. He kept the scoreboard ticking and ensured there was no further damage. However, it was Haider's superb ball-striking that just blew Zalmi away. They went into the last five overs needing 57 runs, and it was then that Haider just unleashed and started to hit the ball cleanly over midwicket. Aamer Jamal was taken to the cleaners with 23 coming off the 18th over, bringing the rate down to a run a ball, and they didn't waste much time after that. Hang around for the presentations.
