The bowlers first did a superb job of picking up the remaining 7 Vidarbha wickets in the first session itself and then Rahane and Musheer Khan steadied the batting essay once the openers departed cheaply. The lead is 260 and they seem to be in no hurry as showcased by the two batters in the middle. Rahane and Musheer were happy to bide their time as the pitch was playing some tricks, but once set they accelerated. The Mumbai skipper reached only his second fifty of the season and looks set to make it big, while Musheer has extended his purple patch into one of the biggest games of India's domestic season.
