The day started with a ripper from Taskin Ahmed that nipped in and knocked the stumps of Shafique. Shan Masood and Saim Ayub steadied the ship, batting out the session. However, both were dismissed after their fifties by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Shakib picked the crucial wicket of Babar Azam as Bangladesh bossed the middle session. Pakistan were in a spot of bother at 211/6 after losing Rizwan for a paltry score as well, but Salman Agha batted well with the tail to get them a better score. He was dismissed shortly after his fifty, and then Miraz ended things to claim a fifer and put Bangladesh on top for the time being. Back shortly for the second innings, shouldn't be more than 2-3 overs for the close of play.
