Wiaan Mulder: There's been a lot of changes in my personal life and my game. Big change has been mentally, I have been overwhelmed and things have moved fast before. When the ball is being released what am I thinking. Technically I have been working on my game, playing in England and adapting to different conditions . Tough when I came in, it was spinning. The guys before me set it up, they played beautifully. Today our target is to find the rough created by the spikes, with bowlers like KG and Keshav, we are always hopeful.
09:15 Local Time, 03:15 GMT, 08:45 IST: Having dominated the first two days of the Test, South Africa find themselves in a commanding position and complete control of this match. Tony de Zorzi, Tristan Stubbs and Wiaan Mulder scored centuries for the visitors as they notched up a massive total of 575/6 before declaring. Bangladesh looked down and out after toiling in the field for more than 140 overs, and the Proteas bowlers took advantage of that, dismissing four batters before stumps on Day 2. Rabada took a couple of early wickets, while Maharaj and Paterson picked up a wicket each to break Bangladesh’s spine. With three more days to go, South Africa are the favourites to win this Test and take the series 2-0. Will Bangladesh come up with something special or will they succumb under the huge scoreboard pressure? We shall find out soon. The action of Day 3 ain’t far away, stay around for all the updates..
A dream day for South Africa and lots of thinking and work for Bangladesh to do. This game is heading the same way as the first one did. Can Bangladesh fight back? We will be back tomorrow to find out. There will be an early start - 15 minutes early - on day 3 as play begins at 945am local. Do join us then. See you for now.
16:52 Local Time, 10:52 GMT, 16:22 IST: And off they go. The light not good enough. South Africa are high-fiving as they leave. It will be stumps too.
