Suzie Bates: Was a true track, you got real value for our shots when you play straight. Did well in the powerplay but got slower in the middle when pace was taken off. We talked about partnerships after the last game, when no one kicked on beyond 30. Good cricket wicket but we need to bowl well. Thankfully the sun has gone behind the clouds now. It was pretty warm and more about getting some shade and cool for drinks and did a great job in slowing the game down, definitely different to Dunedin. Powerplay will be important if we can get a couple of wickets early and spin to win in the middle overs, we have got Fran Jonas in the middle who has been great for us so far.
