Cummins to Roston Chase, no run

Hazlewood to Roston Chase, 1 run, half-an-appeal for LBW, but there was a thick inside edge - Australia though ponder and they've reviewed, they must reckon that this was pad first. Was the nip-backer and Chase was pressing forward from the crease, did it flick the pad before hitting the pad? There's a deflection for sure and umpire Adrian Holdstock reckons it was indeed bat first.

The players are ready and we're set to start Day 2.
wickets on Day 1, this wicket gives us a perfect mix of all lengths. The region around 6-8m is crucial and it accounted for 9 off the 14 wickets to fall yesterday. The dismissal of Keacy Carty showed why it is such a difficult pitch to bat, the bowlers need to stay in control, says Carlos Brathwaite, in his pitch report.
Josh Hazlewood - It was a bit of a surprise over the way the wicket played, they bowled really well in the first hour and a bit, so the boys needed some thinking to do. But it did stay the same throughout the day, good bowling conditions. We don't have Marnus and Smithy, particularly the latter, we did miss his stability at number 4. But it does give the new boys a good chance, I think the wicket will stay the same, early start at 10 am, so there should be some nip. A crucial first session is coming up.
Justin Greaves - It was really good by the teams, they've put in the hard work while training. Both Jayden and Shamar have worked hard in the nets, previously we've had 6-7 wickets and then struggled to get rid of the tail, but bowling them out for 180 was good. Taking the wicket of Tavis was very important and Shamnar just wanted the ball. New guys in the slip cordon, Chase and King are new out there, they've worked a lot with the coaching staff, you catch a few, you drop a few. The ball us still doing bit, so need King and Chase to get us a good start
09:30 Local Time, 13:30 GMT, 19:00 IST: On a spicy Day 1 pitch, as many as 14 wickets fell to the pacers to set-up an enthralling start to the Frank Worrell Trophy. Australia won the toss and opted to bat first, but they were undone by the excellence of Shamar Joseph first and then Jayden Seales to be routed for a mere 180. Only Usman Khawaja and Travis Head went past 40s as the visitors succumbed  to a combination of pace and movement. However, Australia did fight back to reduce the hosts to 57 for 4 by stumps on Day 1, leaving the Test well poised. Will batting conditions improve today or will it be another bowler friendly day at the office?
Seakles: It was always pretty special. To get a fifer on day 1 was very special. With the new ball, it was about pitching it a bit fuller.

Final ball. Cummins taking his time.
