Breetzke: Great privilege to make my debut, didn't go the way I Wanted, but awesome to play in front of these crowds. It felt like a really good wicket and the only challenge was that swinging ball from Thushara, it was runs galore there, the wicket looked really good. There is nerves about any game of cricket you play (debut), I was really excited.

Marsh too found his rhythm, notched up his 7th 50+ score this season and crossed 600 runs as well in the process. And, soon it was carnage from both ends. The RCB bowlers couldn't exert any sort of pressure and their sloppy fielding didn't help their cause. Bhuvi eventually broke the 152-run stand by nicking off Marsh but only after conceding back-to-back sixes against the big Western Australian. While Pooran walked in at 177/2, all eyes were on Pant who threw caution to wind to record a 54-ball hundred.
