The way RCB have been playing this season, it gives their supporters and fanatics real hope. But let's not get kid ourselves - we have seen this before, RCB in 2009, in 2011 and in that Kohli god-mode year in 2016. They reached the finals all those three years and did not win anyone of them. This side though in 2025 has something different in them. They have won all their 7 away games this season which is a record. Not just that stat, the way they have responded to different situations and come up trumps shows a real champion mentality. Still a long way to go before they can dream of lifting that elusive trophy but it's good to dream sometimes. On that philosophical note we sign off. Has been a great game and enjoyed every moment of bringing it to you. The league phase is now over and all that's left are the four big games. We will be there to bring it to you. Do join us then for those. Till then sleep tight, take care, snore heartily and come back here. See you. Ta, ta, bye bye.
Jitesh Sharma | Player of the Match: I can't express my thoughts, I was thinking about just staying in the present. When Virat got out I thought of taking the game deep and that is what my mentor (Dinesh Karthik) tells me that the kind of calibre I have I can finish the game from any situation. This is a very big franchise and I am enjoying the pressure and when I see these players (like Virat, Krunal and Bhuvi) I feel excited that I am getting to play with these players. We will enjoy this moment and whatever momentum we got in this game, we will take it forward (into the next game). Credit goes to Rajat for giving me this responsibility (maintaining the excellent record of winning away from home this season). Hazlewood is fit and the belief system in our team is very strong and whichever players you see, everyone is a match-winner and even if we lose 3-4 wickets, we always had the belief.

Mayank Agarwal: There is very less talking to do, I just had to give the strike and I think Jitesh put up a show and he was simply outstanding. We were just calculating and the wicket was good enough to target the fast bowlers. It builds a lot of confidence, momentum and belief as well. We could not do it last game and we definitely made amends and captain led from the front. When I came we lost 2 quick wickets, the plan was to build a partnership and we knew wicket was good enough.
