That's it from game number 19 from the MSL! Tshwane Spartans are the only undefeated team still. The rains stayed away but AB's bat brought the roof down as he played another wonderful knock to steer his team through. The caravan moves on and we will keep getting you unhindered coverage of all the cricket around the world. Buhbye for now!
Heinrich Klaasen: Was a good performance from the old squad. We knew the wicket will be a touch slower. The bonus point wasn't in the plan during the break. The way AB played, he made it easier for us to get the bonus point. He puts a lot of pressure on himself to perform. We need to give him the freedom he wants as a batter as he has earned it. I was happy that he came to me and said he wanted to bat 3.
Roelof van der Merwe: It was one of those when it came out well. Happy for the win. I know it is a good wicket and you need to keep your lengths away from the batters. We can take a bit of momentum into the next few games.
Faf du Plessis: I could say that the pitch played better in the second innnigs. But we didn't bat well. We were ahead on the run-rate in the powerplay, but we didn't play well. They were better than us in all departments. If we are light on the batting department, we need to ensure that we don't give it away. The wicket was playing nicely and we need to get wickets. But AB came on and put pressure back on the bowlers by playing aggressive cricket. We tried everything, but they were just too good. Pretorius could come in during the semis and hopefully in the finals. He has been playing well and his batting has come on well. We miss him in terms of the balance of the side. Our bowling is good and we need to ensure we put runs on the board.
20:29 Local Time, 18:29 GMT, 23:59 IST: It was a typical ABD show. He took his time to get his eye in and we know the rest of the story after that. He is such a tormentor. Went after the bowling as he had the bonus point in mind and as a result of it the chase was completed in only 15 overs. The wicket in the first innings had given impressions of being slightly sluggish and the sedate start from the Tshwane unit also vindicated the same. But once ABD came in, he took charge of the things in the middle. Yes, he had chances but he made good use of it and finished it off for his team. Hang on for the presentations.

13.3
Fortuin to Klaasen, 1 run, steps out, Fortuin drags it short, slapped away to long-off
