That's it for today. The Giants move to the top of the table with 27 points. Cape Town, on the other hand, need a miracle to make it to the Eliminator. Join us tomorrow for Jozi Stars vs Durban Heat. Until then, goodbye.
JJ Smuts | Nelson Mandela Bay Giants captain: It was a great comeback. They played unbelievably well in the powerplay. Our seamers came back superbly in the back end. Imran and our fielding was outstanding. It's (final round-robin match) all to play for.
Ben Dunk | Player of the Match: I must admit, I was a bit scared that I underestimate the wicket. Their openers batted so well. He (Breetzke) was awesome, he's worked so hard on his game. Showed his class today. It's a nice win, hopefully we carry this momentum.
Quinton de Kock | Cape Town Blitz captain: Dunk and Breetzke put a lot of pressure on us. The bowlers did well to pull it back in the end. We lost so many wickets too quickly and that led to our downfall. We have to play really well on Sunday. Tshwane are also under pressure, should be a good game.
21:06 Local Time, 19:06 GMT, 00:36 IST: How did the Blitz mess this up? Their bowlers did well to restrict the visitors to 173 after the century opening stand. The hosts got off to a flyer, scoring 82 runs in the powerplay. QdK played a high-risk shot and gifted his wicket to Tahir in the seventh over. That opened the floodgates and despite Janneman Malan's impressive half-century, Cape Town never recovered. After conceding 104 in 9 overs, the Giants didn't concede a single boundary in the next 10 overs. The bowling was tight and it was coupled with some poor shot selection from the Blitz. At one point, it looked like Cape Town would go for the bonus point, but they ended up capitulating meekly. Stay tuned for the presentations.
