Two dominating wins for England and they look like a side firing on all cylinders. Of course, both wins came against considerably lesser opponents but the good thing for them is that they didn't let their intensity down. The wins have also boosted their run rate significantly. Canada will only get better from such experiences, and given the attitude shown by many of their players, they will improve with more exposure you'd think. That's a wrap to today's U19 World Cup coverage. We'll be back tomorrow. Do join us for more cricketing action. Until next time, it's a goodbye from us.
Mihir Patel | Canada captain: Quite disappointing. Obviously England played well, so credit to them. Chasing 320 was always going to be tough. We weren't able to get partnerships like they were getting. We spoke about rotation of strike a lot earlier, but it didn't come off today (against the spinners). We have got depth in our batting in general, most of them bat higher up for their club teams in general. So we do have a long line-up in general. Lots of positives too.
Tom Prest | England captain | Player of the Match: It was a good performance. The lads coming in at the end hit a few sixes and got us to that 320-mark. It was a little bit two paced and nice to get a few runs on such a surface. It was nice to get a few wickets as well. Joshua (Boyden) bowled well to take another 4-fer and to restrict them to 214 was incredible. I had had a poor run of form, so happy to get 90-odd and be back among the runs. After losing the toss and putting 320 on the board was a good achievement. We work hard on our fielding, collecting the balls and hitting the stumps, but we didn't do that well today, so something to work on. We set the platform nicely and then obviously Belly played a few shots. We don't want to get complacent now and make it three out of three wins.
16:28 Local Time, 20:28 GMT, 01:58 IST: It was always going to be a mismatch. Was so on paper and once England got to 320, the game was virtually done and dusted. Canada's batters did show some fight in terms of lasting almost the entire 50 overs but the chase was never on track at any point really. Chima and Mahmood in the top order showed some resillience, but it was Johal's powerhitting at the end and his partnership with Gibson that really entertained. Of course, Canada were out of the game long before they came together, but they at least ensured that they didn't just throw their wickets away. Boyden once again was the chief wicket-taker with a four-fer but it were their spinners who did the damage with tidy spells that squeezed the batters throughout. England were a bit lax in the field at times but that apart, they were quite clinical.

Tom Prest to Harjap Saini, out Stumped!! The skipper wraps things up! Quicker slider, slanting across Saini who is beaten on the drive on the outside edge. He also dragged his back foot out of the crease in the process and Alex Horton is quick as ever behind the sticks. Whips off the bails in a flash and the square leg ump straightaway raised his finger. It was that clear. England register another monstrous win! Harjap Saini st Alex Horton b Tom Prest 6(8) [4s-1]
Tom Prest to Harjap Saini, THATS OUT!! Stumped!!

Bethell to Parmveer Kharoud, FOUR, heaved away! In the slot for Kharoud who clears his front leg and slogs over mid-wicket. Uppish but it's also in the gap, bisecting deep mid-wicket and long-on
